The Supreme Court will not take up former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman’s 2006 bribery conviction, the high court said Monday. The Associated Press reports that Siegelman’s lawyers wanted to argue that campaign donations cannot be bribes unless there is a clear agreement between donors and politicians.
