Trump Complains That Mueller Wasn’t Senate Confirmed (He Didn’t Need To Be)

President Donald Trump expressed his displeasure Friday that special counsel Robert Mueller was not confirmed by the Senate, though that position does not require Senate confirmation.

Mueller has also been previously confirmed by the Senate for his role as FBI director.
