Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) praised an emerging bipartisan agreement in the House on immigration on Tuesday, telling reporters that it’s “frankly, a pretty responsible solution.” While details of the bill are still being negotiated, one of the top Democrats working on it said Tuesday that it should include an eventual path to citizenship and that he was confident Republicans were on board with that aspect.
