Senate Panel Approves Mary Jo White Nomination To SEC

The Senate Banking Committee on Tuesday approved the nomination of Mary Jo White, President Obama’s pick to lead the Securities and Exchange Commission, by a near unanimous vote of 20-1. The nomination now heads to the full Senate.
