Former vice presidential nominee and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) is set to return to cable news next week — this time as a guest host of a political news program on the conservative One America News Network.

“On Point with Guest Host Sarah Palin” is scheduled to run at 10 p.m. EDT for five consecutive nights starting on Monday, according to a news release from the channel.

“I didn’t get into public service to do the safe and easy things,” Palin said in a statement included in the news release. “A ship in harbor is safe, but that’s not why the ship is built!”

“Palin’s experience and insights will further the political conversation, especially meaningful as the 2016 Presidential race heats up,” said Robert Herring, Sr., chief executive of the One America News Network, in the release. “She’s been influential in helping multiple candidates on the right, including some running for the GOP Presidential nomination. Regardless of one’s political view, the discussions will be meaningful, while also being entertaining.”

Palin had served as a contributor on Fox News for several years before the network chose not to renew her contract in June. She began working for Fox in 2009 as a paid contributor.

Though Palin has remained relatively quiet so far in the 2016 election, she called Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump a “hero” after he criticized her former running mate, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), for being captured and held as a prisoner of war in Vietnam.

  1. Nice try, 'Bou-Barb, but the only way you’re going to get another fifteen minutes is to accept that check from Hef and do that celebrity has-been shoot for Playboy.

    That could explain some things…

And ungrateful to boot: she defended the attacker of the man who brought her into the world of national politics. How is Trump a ‘hero’? Please explain.

  3. Oh, Gawd…and I’m out of heavy duty earplugs! What to do…

How much latex condom did she have to suck on to get this gig?

  4. “On Point with Guest Host Sarah Palin”

Yeah, the “point” at the top of her tinfoiil hat. In all other respects, Jabberwocky Barbie has failed to make a point about anything…making points is sort of hard to do when you speak Wordsaladese.

  5. When the paid subscriber Interwebs grift went kaput it was time for half-term/half-wit to get a real job.
Has anyone heard of this America (Fuck Yeah!) One Network? Will she be paid in Moose Jerky and Starbuck’s Gift Cards?
