Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said Thursday that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is losing control and an “opposition victory can’t be excluded.”
“We must look at the facts. There is a trend for the government to progressively lose control over an increasing part of the territory,” Bogdanov said.
According to the Associated Press, Bogdanov remarks were made during a hearing at the Kremlin.
