Romney campaign senior adviser Ed Gillespie released a memo Monday morning outlining the topics Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan will stress during their Ohio bus tour this week. The memo said an emphasis would be placed on their plans for trade and energy independence. The campaign already released a new ad attacking President Obama for not “standing up to China.”
“They will talk about the need to protect U.S. intellectual property rights from cheaters in China, open new markets with trade agreements ignored by the Obama Administration, approve the Keystone pipeline so thousands of Americans can be working on a pipeline instead of standing in an unemployment line, and lifting the moratorium on drilling in the Gulf of Mexico,” Gillespie wrote in the memo.
The bus tour kicks off Monday; Romney and Ryan plan to visit six cities in three days.
