Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) says that Obama was “insulting every American” when he urged the country not to support politicians who speak derogatorily of the Muslim faith.
In a jab at rhetoric coming from GOP frontrunners like Donald Trump, Obama said Tuesday that “when politicians insult Muslims, when a mosque is vandalized, or a kid bullied, that doesn’t make us safer. That’s not telling it like it is … it’s just wrong.”
Rohrabacher said the section of the President’s speech “was very disturbing.”
“He is trying to recommend to us how we should feel about that faith. I think he was insulting every American who is not Islamophobia [sic], but is very concerned about what is going on,” Rohrabacher said.
I’m used to republicans not making any sense politically, but this literally makes no sense.
What’s the saying? “Better to Remain Silent and Be Thought a Fool than to Speak and Remove All Doubt”? Well, I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised this idiot never heard it.
I’m not Islamaphobia. I’m nothing you’ve heard. I’m you.
… the derp speaks for itself…
I’m not Islamophobia and I didn’t feel insulted.
