Former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) is giving a run at the White House another go.

ABC News reported Wednesday, ahead of a planned announcement in Cabot, Pennsylvania the same day, that the former senator and runner up in the 2012 GOP primary would run for president again.

Santorum won 11 state primaries and caucuses in the GOP primary in 2012 before Mitt Romney clinched the nomination. Since then he’s been laying the groundwork toward another White House bid.

Santorum’s announcement is just one of a few on the horizon this week. Former New York Gov. George Pataki will reportedly throw his hat into the ring on Thursday and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley (D) will join former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (D) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in the Democratic primary when he announces on Saturday.
