The 2016 presidential field is about to get bigger this week.
On Wednesday, former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA), the last Republican standing against Mitt Romney in the 2012 GOP primary, is expected to announce he’s running during an event in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Former New York Gov. George Pataki (R) will launch a long-shot bid on Thursday, The New York Post reported. Pataki has polled at the very bottom of the likely and declared 2016 pack.
Finally, former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley (D) will officially jump into the race Saturday in Baltimore, Maryland.
Also, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who’s already announced his 2016 candidacy, officially kicks off his campaign Tuesday in Burlington, Vermont.
Most polling has shown these candidates trailing behind former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (D) and a few top-tier Republican candidates like Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.
Fox News recently said that it would limit its first Republican presidential debate to candidates averaging in the top ten in the five most recent national polls.

You’re right, ghost. How dare they leave off the ticket that is most likely to knock off the HRC Express: Fiorina/Pataki!
“Bigger?” Don’t you mean more sour and potbound?
Who wants to bet that two or three of those five will be Fox News polls, and they will cook the numbers to only include candidates approved by Roger Ailes?
