Rep. Peter King (R-NY), Chairman of the Homeland Security Committee, gave an update on how the investigation into the Secret Service scandal was going and what the repercussions would be on Meet the Press Sunday morning. “Anyone who’s found to be guilty” will lose their job,” King said, adding that “I would expect within the very near future to have several other Secret Service agents leaving the agency.”
Thus far, 12 Secret Service agents and 11 members of the U.S. military have been implicated. Six Agents, including two supervisors, have lost their jobs.
