Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee, said Sunday that the reports that Donald Trump posed as his own spokesman years ago was “a little bit odd.”
Priebus defended the presumptive GOP nominee during his multiple appearances on the Sunday news talk shows amid reports that Trump pretended to be a spokesman for himself by the name of “John Miller.” Trump denied that he was the one who had been recorded in the audio released of the conversation.
When asked to comment on the situation on CBS News’ “Face the Nation,” Priebus at first stammered.
“I, it is a, it is a, it is a little bit odd but I will just tell you I think of all the things facing this country right now, and after being through this primary for a year, I can assure you that that particular issue is not going to move the electorate,” Priebus said.
Priebus pivoted the conversation to criticizing Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton and argued that the aforementioned issue wasn’t one of the issues people cared about in the election.
As eloquent as always, Priebus. Are you stating that the public already knows he’s a serial liar, and will just accept one additional lie of many?
I’ve seen a lot of discussion that the issue is him posing as his own spokesman under an assumed name. That’s kinda odd, but how many times does an interviewee say, “You can attribute this to someone close the subject” and then chat about themselves?
What should be the issue is he has admitted to it in court cases, but on national TV lied about it.
When all else fails…
#Benghazi!
Yes he has a mental disorder but we Republicans would like him to have the nuclear codes…

Aye. There’s the rub.
