A professor at George Washington University has spearheaded a super PAC to back a 2016 presidential campaign for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Center for Public Integrity reported Monday.
On Friday, Allida Black registered her PAC, “Ready for Hillary” with the Federal Election Commission. She told the Center for Public Integrity in an email that her outfit is comprised of “a small group of skilled and dedicated Hillary supporters and Obama supporters” Black also noted that the group’s website will launch in the coming weeks.
“Our purpose is simple: we are ready to work for Hillary to be president when she is ready to run,” Black said. “When our website launches in a few weeks, we plan to reach out to our grassroots networks and contributors to mobilize them to support her.”
