Panetta: General Allen Has My ‘Continued Confidence’

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Wednesday that General John Allen, who is linked to a woman involved in the David Petraeus affair, has his “continued confidence.” Panetta also cautioned against jumping to early conclusions, according to the AP. Allen allegedly sent hundreds of emails to a Tampa woman linked to the affair. Officials have described some of the correspondence as “inappropriate.”
