President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama are scheduled to participate in the White House Easter Egg Roll at 10:30 a.m. ET Monday on the South Lawn.
Around 35,000 people are expected to attend, according to NBC News. The sequestration budget cuts threatened to cancel the event, but as the Washington Post reported, corporate sponsors and souvenir eggs kept it afloat.
