President Obama encouraged Gulf Coast residents to listen to local officials in preparation for Tropical Storm Isaac, which is expected to strengthen and become a hurricane before making landfall later Tuesday.
“Now’s not the time to tempt fate,” Obama said in remarks at the White House. “You need to take this seriously.”
