Asked whether he expects the National Rifle Association will impede his efforts to pass gun control legislation, President Obama said Wednesday he hopes the organization will engage in some “self-reflection.”
“The NRA is an organization that has members who are mothers and fathers, and I would expect that they’ve been impacted by this as well,” Obama said. “And hopefully they’ll do some self-reflection.”
