President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are expected to host a meeting Friday with labor leaders, according to the White House schedule. The meeting is scheduled to take place at 3:35 p.m. ET.
The meeting will come only two days after members of the AFL-CIO passed a resolution at the labor organization’s convention that asserts that Obama’s signature new health care law will cause the costs of union-sponsored health plans to go up.
