Host Larry Wilmore asked on Wednesday night’s episode of “The Nightly Show” if former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin was drunk during her endorsement of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for 2016.
“Is she literally drunk? I’m not even joking, guys,” Wilmore said. “She sounds wasted.”
“That’s not even a word salad. That’s like a word Chipotle burrito bowl, extra E. coli,” he continued.

Every time I hear Caribou Barbie speak, she sounds like she’s reached that point of inebriation where the connections between your neurons are so swimming in booze that you get distracted and derailed before you can finish a sentence. She is so incoherent, she always sounds drunk to me.
So was she? Who knows. And would we be able to tell the difference?
Nah, she always talks like that. No one will ever be able to tell if she’s drunk unless someone actually sees her sober sometime.
She does drive the rest of us to drink, so she might as well drink herself. (Seriously, I wondered the same thing myself).

she was excited beyond her ability to contain it that she was on the national stage again… and appearing before a cheering crowd (even if they weren’t there to specifically see her). she was thinking about all of those dollars she expects to see come rolling in by hitching herself to trump. and this might actually be the first real ding in his campaign… because she’s going to prove to be nothing but a major fuck-up on his part. expect to see him cut her loose – ‘to spend more time with her family’ no doubt – in a few days…
