The Romney campaign is gearing up to attack Newt Gingrich in Iowa as they make a last-minute attempt to win the Iowa caucuses. But as Real Clear Politics reports, Newt Gingrich won’t fight back. On a strategy call this morning, according to spokesman R.C. Hammond, Gingrich made it clear that his campaign would play it nice: “In response to the dynamics over the last 24 hours about the attacks coming our way, his instructions to us were to not say anything bad about Mitt Romney.”
