Gun control advocacy group Moms Demand Action released a video Friday urging Facebook to ban gun sales on its website.

Riffing on the “Look Back” videos Facebook rolled out recently for its 10th anniversary, the video takes a closer look at how the website facilitates private sales and trades of firearms — usually without a background check.

“enough mags to take out a few presidents # xD,” read one comment on a post offering up a gun for sale.

“I’m also not running a background check ;),” another gun sales post read.

The campaign urges users to send a letter to executives of both Facebook and Instagram asking that they follow the lead of other websites, like Craigslist and eBay, that have banned gun sales from their platforms.
