Fox News host Megyn Kelly excoriated MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry on Monday night for asking the outgoing attorney general to quack like a duck during an interview Sunday.
In the exchange, which occurred toward the end of an conversation about civil rights and race, Harris-Perry told Attorney General Eric Holder that his “placid and even” manner has earned him the nickname “the Duck.” She then asked, “Would you quack for us?”
Holder refused.
Kelly played the video on her show “The Kelly File” on Monday night and shielded her eyes in mock horror.
“Oh my God. Is it over?” Kelly said. “It’s terrible!”
Kelly’s guest, Fox News media analyst Howard Kurtz, agreed, calling the segment “cringe-inducing.”
“How humiliating for her?” Kelly said. “Does she know how much she humiliated herself?”

I kind of agree, but it’s no worse than the tongue bath Fox News allowed former Bush press secretary Dana Perino to give George W. Bush.
Megyn’s just trying to show us that blondes have a sense of shame too.
just more gotcha that these guys play out…
otoh, i have to agree with kelly; mph is an embarrassment. but nothing will top when she wore tampons as earrings. i don’t even recall what the grievance of the moment was…
This just in! Woman lives in glass house! Throws rocks!
Well, it was definitely a silly request, although “The Duck” is his nickname. She was ribbing him, and he remained placid. Like a duck, I guess.
But he would have never heard the end of it if he had complied, and I’m not sure where the humiliation comes in.
More likely, Fox is sad that it lost an opportunity to humiliate him.
And, yes, I’m remembering a humiliating incident by John “Where Eagles Soar” Ashcroft.
But I suppose Fox doesn’t want to bring him up for, um, a variety of reasons.
