Former South Carolina gov. Mark Sanford and Fox News contributor says South Carolina, not Iowa, will be the “Super Bowl test” of the primary:“I do believe it is. I think this will be the Super Bowl. And frankly, in many ways historically it has been. IF you look at the last 30 yrs, S Carolina has picked the ultimate Republican nominee.”
Sanford said Rick Perry can last until South Carolina despite a 5th place finish in the Hawkeye state. The saying goes, there’s three tickets out of Iowa, Sanford said, but predicted this year would be an exception.
