A Virginia man was caught with a loaded gun in his carry-on bag at Reagan National Airport just outside Washington, D.C. Monday, NBC reported.
The man told Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials that he forgot the loaded .40-caliber handgun was in his bag and was allowed to board his flight to Montreal after the gun was confiscated.
The man had a Virginia concealed weapons permit, according to authorities.
