Responding to a colleague’s assertion that Donald Trump’s apology for extremely lewd comments in 2005 wasn’t good enough, former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said that nobody cared about the GOP nominee addressing the incident.
“Nobody cares!” Lewandowski exclaimed, after CNN’s Gloria Berger noted Trump wasn’t a “frat guy,” but rather a 59-year-old man at the time of his comments—and that Trump appeared to claim Sunday that he’d never actually done what he had bragged about doing in a leaked video from 2005.
On Friday, “Access Hollywood” footage of Trump saying he could kiss and grope women without their consent due to his celebrity status made the media rounds, spurring bipartisan outrage and sending elected Republicans running away from Trump’s campaign.
During Sunday’s debate, Trump repeated his assertion that his comments were just “locker room banter” and that he had never actually sexually assaulted women. Several women have publicly accused him of as much, however.
Watch the exchange below:
Ask mom or your sister, asswipe.
Then how about this Cory —
OK it was locker room banter and he never did anything like that. Then Donald is merely a lowgrade, lying twit. Is that that point?
Corey is way out of his depth.emphasized text
OK, nobody cares about that. After all it was just one video. And there aren’t any more coming out. So that’s cool.
