Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) wasn’t impressed that his arch-nemesis in the Republican presidential primary, real estate mogul Donald Trump, pledged his loyalty to the party on Thursday.
Trump held a news conference about signing the pledge on Thursday and later posted a tweet showing a photo of the pledge, which stated he will support whoever the eventual GOP presidential nominee happens to be and that he will not run as a third-party candidate.
Bush responded to a tweet with some snark, bragging about his Republican Party bonafides and alluding to Trump’s past history of donating to Democratic candidates and committees:

Oh my, those are some pretty strong tweet words.
Weak sauce.
Oh my, Jeb’s so proud that the first time he voted it was for Richard M. Nixon. He’s actually bragging about it…
It really is weak. Man, you know the Bushs are really killers, but where’s the ! in Jeb! ? Trump’s just not going to give him an opening. He’s caught between his family and Trump’s nativist call to arms.
Nice handwriting Jeb!
