Former White House Press Secretary Jay Carney has joined CNN as a political commentator, the network announced Wednesday.

Carney will jump straight into his commentating duties Wednesday night as President Barack Obama delivers a statement addressing the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, according to a press release.

“I’m thrilled to be joining CNN at a time when there is so much happening in the nation and the world,” Carney said in a statement.

  1. But of course he does. The revolving door seems well greased and spinning quite nicely.

spinning a little too quickly in my opinion.

  3. Come on, lay off Jay…he’s only signed up with “muted” CNN, not a Washington lobbying firm. Maybe he’ll pullback and expose media’s trolling of this president. For pete’s sake, checkout latest NBC/WSJ poll following the NBC/Marist poll from last Sunday, coinciding with Chuck Todd’s debut on MTP. Now the latest bullshit poll states more americans feel unsafe since 9-11 - Where’s the fact to buttress such ridiculous polling? Are these americans pulling this insecurity out of their asses? There’s something diabolical and sinister with Chuck Todd’s polling shop- who commissions these or set up the poll questions? They look naked and transparent as public manipulation!! Gross…
