Hope Hicks, President Donald Trump’s former communications director, has been hired as chief communication officer for “New FOX,” a separate entity after Twenty-First Century Fox merges with Disney that will encompass the Fox News channel.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the company announced the hire on Monday.
Bet you next week’s paycheck that this is a craven corporate decision to flatter and impress DJT so he doesn’t make fun of Mickey Mouse, et alia.
KUDOs! Great CHOICE good at communicating and IRONING pants that ON AIR talent will Undoubtedly still be wearing.
“New Fox” is what the parts of 21st Century Fox that are not going under Disney is going to be now called, which includes faux news.
This will be interesting. Ms. Hicks is not known for her judgement in her personal life (Corey Lewandowski and Rob Porter), and certainly questionable judgement in her work life choices (the Trump White House), so the move to the “New” FOX will likely mean that Bill Shine will be running the STATE MEDIA, again.
“Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.”
We won’t be fooled again.
“Meet the new Fox
Same as the old Fox”
(With apologies to Pete Townshend and The Who).
