Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton plans to appear on a late night comedy show the same night as the next scheduled GOP debate.
NBC announced on Tuesday that the former secretary of state will be appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Sept. 16.
During the first Republican debate last month, Clinton ended up snapping selfies with the Kardashian clan during a fundraiser in California.
Clinton will also be part of the premiere week of NBC’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” DeGeneres is set to interview Clinton on Tuesday in front of an audience outside Rockefeller Center in New York City.

Presidential candidates former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) are scheduled to appear during the first week of CBS’s “Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”
Way to step all over the GOP pageant, Madame Secretary.
Comedy for comedy. Seems fair enough.
From Bill Clinton playing the sax on Arsenio, to Obama chatting with Ellen, to this–a proven winner for Democratic campaigns. (If only Gore had been funnier on Leno…)
“Step all over” is a bit mild, I’d say.
…as if there are many TeaPubs capable of understanding JF or HC humor…
