Spencer Bachus (R-AL) predicts that House Republicans will try to amend the Senate-passed fiscal cliff deal to add spending cuts to the already-agreed-to tax increases. “I’ll be shocked if this isn’t sent back to the Senate,” Bachus said Tuesday afternoon after a meeting of the House GOP conference.
