Google’s Sergey Brin Wears Computerized Glasses On NYC Subway

Google co-founder Sergey Brin, a major promoter of the company’s upcoming Google Glass computerized glasses product, was caught wearing the high-tech specs riding the New York City downtown 3 subway train Sunday night by augmented reality enthusiast Noah Zerkin, who generously shared a snapshot of the encounter on Twitter

Google previously stated it would ship the first public prototypes of Google Glass, called Explorer Edition, to a select group of software developers who registered and paid $1,500 per pair last summer. Google recently announced that it would also allow some of these developers to test out the devices early and their Mirror application programming interface at hackathons in San Francisco and New York set for the end of January and early February, respectively.
