Google Plus now has 400 million users who have signed-up to claim their profiles on Google’s social network and another 100 million monthly active users, according Google senior vice president of engineering Vic Gundotra, formerly head of Google social, in a post on (what else?) Google Plus on Monday. The new stats put Google Plus, just over a year old, in striking distance of Twitter’s 140 million active users after six years, though still well behind Facebook’s 955 million active users.
