The IMF will receive additional funding to shore up its emergency reserves, it was announced at a G20 meeting on Friday. Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister assured reporters at the meeting that the G20 would come up with a number that would “satisfy” the IMF. In exchange for the funding Brazil is seeking greater power for emerging powers in the Funds decision making process.
