‘Family Guy’ Creator Seth MacFarlane To Host Academy Awards

Seth MacFarlane, the creator of the animated comedy “Family Guy,” will host the 85th Academy Awards on February 24, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Monday. It will be MacFarlane’s first appearance on the Oscars stage, according to the release.
