Ethics Committee Will Not Charge Maxine Waters

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) will not be charged with any ethics violations, the House Ethics Committee said Friday. The committee did find that Waters’ chief-of-staff Mikael Moore violated House standards of conduct when he took actions to help a bank where Waters’ husband owned stock. He will most likely receive a letter admonishing him for his conduct, according to the Associated Press.
