Attorney General Eric Holder will reportedly be attending national security meetings in Paris after Wednesday’s attack on the offices of satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo that left 12 people dead.

The AFP reported on Thursday that the attorney general will be traveling to Paris to attend Sunday’s talks.

President Obama on Wednesday said in a statement that the United States will stand with France and cooperate to “hunt down” the gunmen.

“For us to see the kind of cowardly, evil attacks that took place today reinforces once again why it’s so important for us to stand in solidarity with them just as they stand in solidarity with us,” he said.

He said that the two countries will also work together directly on counter terrorism in the aftermath of the attack.

Well I hope he’s paying for it himself!

  2. The French are perfectly capable of handling this themselves.

Holder and Obama need to focus on our very own KKK, Aryan Nation, violent Teabaggers, Sikh-killers, border vigilantes, gangs, etc. etc.

  3. “Cowardly, evil attacks.” The predictable and futile, cliched condemnation. Uttered from a plush conference room. Instead, Holder should go on a walkabout in a banlieu like Gennevillers. And actually learn something.
