After joking during Thursday night’s GOP presidential debate about having called women “pigs” and “slobs,” real estate mogul and primary frontrunner Donald Trump said on Friday that he doesn’t even remember making disparaging comments about women.

In a Friday interview by phone on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Trump criticized the questions from the debate moderators, saying Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly in particular targeted him unfairly.

“I thought they were unfair questions. I mean, I can handle it. I think I handled it well,” Trump said. “You know, the question on the women, I didn’t say many of those things. … I don’t know where they got some of the words, to be honest.”

Kelly had pressed him about using phrases like “disgusting animals” and “fat slobs” to insult women. Trump joked about the phrases during the debate, saying he had only used them to describe actress Rosie O’Donnell, with whom he has a longstanding feud.

But on Friday he said he didn’t remember having ever used the phrases.

“In fact, I’m going to have somebody call up and find out where the words came from,” the former reality TV star said. “Not that I’m an angel, by the way. But I don’t recognize those words.”

Unless its the same investigators you sent to find Obama’s Kenyan birth certificate, that’s probably not a real good idea. In fact, just taking this stance pretty much guarantees the press is going to drag up a lot more, and a lot worse, crap you have tweeted out over the years.

  2. Haha…shhhhhhhhh, don’t discourage him…

  3. In other words “I don’t recall.” Maybe he’s ready to be President after all!

  4. I’ve never heard him use those words either, but then again I always change the channel when I see that blowhard’s face.

  5. Speaking of seeing his face, the accompanying photo made me literally LOL :joy:
