The Democratic Governors Association is going after Mark Zuckerberg for hosting a fundraiser for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, asking its supporters to pressure Zuckerberg to cancel the event.
“Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is hosting a fundraiser for right-wing Republican darling Chris Christie,” the DGA petition website reads. “Sign the form at the right to tell Zuckerberg to cancel his fundraiser and stop funding Gov. Christie’s re-election campaign.”
Zuckerberg, who donated $100 million to the Newark school system, has worked closely with Christie on education policy.
