Back from hiatus, “The Daily Show” wasted no time Monday night skewering the uptick in frenzied coverage of Ebola.
Broadcasting from Austin, Texas, host Jon Stewart complimented the state on its relatively dignified handling of the case of a Dallas health care worker who was treated for Ebola and recovered.
New York and New Jersey were another matter, however. “I’m sure the local authorities are taking a measured approach,” Stewart said.
He played news clips reporting on mandatory quarantine guidelines imposed by New York Gov. Chris Cuomo (D) and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R). Amid the footage was the story of one nurse placed under involuntary quarantine by Christie, who protested the move because she was “completely healthy.”
Stewart rolled an interview of Christie dismissing that nurse’s testimony: “[T]he fact is I have a much greater, bigger responsibility to the people and the public, and so I think when she has time to reflect she will understand that as well,” the governor said.
“Why does Christie have to be such a dick about everything?” Stewart said.
“He can’t just quarantine someone,” Stewart said. “He has to be like, ‘Oh you’re a doctor without borders? Not anymore! Get in the fuckin’ room.'”

Where would we be without Jon calling out these people? No one else will.
“Why does Christie have to be such a dick about everything?”
That’s like asking why water is wet.
On today’s edition of the Daily Show the question will be, Why Does Chris Christie Have to be Such a L*mp Dick?
Chris Christie; what gets quarantined in Jersey for public reasons gets sent back to Maine for personal reasons. What an impotent clown Christie is.
Fat Man Fucks Up…Again.
Seriously, Fat Man just lays it out there for comedians. He’s worse than Bush Jr.
Jon, it is all he knows - it is in his DNA, would you expect a cat to bark? a dog to meow?
