Hillary Clinton on Wednesday night brushed off the question of whether she would drop out of the presidential race if she were indicted in connection with the ongoing investigation into her private email server as she was pressed repeatedly by Univision debate moderator Jorge Ramos.

“Oh, for goodness — that’s not going to happen. I’m not even answering that question,” she replied sharply at one point.

Ramos initially posed that question, among many others, about Clinton’s use of the private server while serving as secretary of state.

“It wasn’t the best choice. I made a mistake. It was not prohibitive. It was not in any way disallowed,” she said, adding: “My predecessors did the same thing.”

Clinton argued that none of the emails she sent over the server contained information that was classified at the time, and any that were marked classified were only given that designation retroactively with their public release.

“I am not concerned about it. I am not worried about it, and no Democrat or American should be either,” she said.
