Fair warning to all the presidential candidates stumping through Iowa: watch out for the deer.
Former Hewlitt Packard CEO Carly Fiorina (R) tweeted Friday afternoon that her campaign car hit one of the unfortunate woodland animals on the road, adding that her staff came out of the accident just fine:
Our campaign car just hit a deer in Iowa. Everyone is fine, but per @ChuckGrassley, assume deer dead.

Fiorina also gave a shout-out to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), who’s detailed at least two vehicular deer kills on his own Twitter account. It’s further proof that the “assume deer dead” meme is undying.
Assume nothing, it could be a demon deer!
