At the CNN debate, Wolf Blitzer asked Herman Cain whether Muslim-Americans should get more intensive searches at airports than Christians, Jews and other Americans.

“No, Blitz, that’s oversimplifying it,” said Cain.

He then began explaining his answer, before suddenly stopping to correct himself (sort of). “I’m sorry, ‘Blitz’ — I meant ‘Wolf,’” said Cain, to the audience’s laughter. “Since we’re on a blitz debate, I apologize.”

After Cain finished his answer, about giving law enforcement the discretion they need to identify terror suspects, Blitzer responded: “Thank you, Cain.”
