BP Agrees To Settle Oil Spill Lawsuit For $7.8 Billion

BP announced late Friday it has agreed to settle a lawsuit over its 2010 oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico for $7.8 billion, according to the New York Times. The plaintiffs in the case are business and individuals affected by the spill.
