Vice President Joe Biden’s spokesperson released a statement on President Obama’s endorsement of gay marriage: Obama “has been a leader on this issue from day one and the Vice President never intended to distract from that,” the statement reads, according to CNN.
Biden apologized to Obama for putting him in a tough situation on gay marriage ahead of his interview with ABC News.
