Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett has a new ad in the Wisconsin recall, slamming Gov. Scott Walker for having the worst job losses in the country.
The announcer says, with a brief cut from a Walker ad in 2010: “Scott Walker promised ‘250,000 new jobs.’ And Scott Walker delivered — nothing. In fact, last year Wisconsin lost more jobs than any state in the country.
“It’s time we had a Governor truly focused on creating jobs. Tom Barrett will support Wisconsin manufacturers,; bring high-tech, clean energy jobs; link tax incentives to job creation; and invest in education again. Tom Barrett — he’ll be the jobs Governor Wisconsin needs.”
The Democratic primary will be held next Tuesday, May 8, and the general election on June 5.
