Seven Marines were killed in a training exercise at Hawthorne Army Depot in Nevada, the Associated Press reported Tuesday. An earlier report indicated that six Marine were killed.
NBC News reported that a mortar exploded at the military facility late Monday. Several others were wounded in the blast, NBC News reported.
