Adam Lanza Had NRA Certificate, Guide To Pistol Shooting

Officials in Connecticut have released an inventory of the items found in the home of Adam and Nancy Lanza following December’s mass shooting in Newtown, Conn. Among the items found, according to The New York Times, were a “certificate from the National Rifle Association bearing the name Adam Lanza” and a NRA guide to the basics of pistol shooting.

Police also found an assortment of weapons and ammunition in the house, including rifles, knives, and samurai swords.

Adam Lanza killed his mother Nancy on Dec. 14, 2012, before driving to Sandy Hook Elementary School, where he killed 20 first graders and 6 adults before killing himself.
