Texas Attorney General Greg Abbot (R) will not endorse a candidate in the Senate Republican primary race between Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) and Rep. Steve Stockman (R-TX), an Abbott spokesman told the Texas Tribune.

The conservative Club for Growth announced Tuesday that it will stay out of the primary race. Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) also isn’t planning on endorsing anyone in the race.
