Almost everyone agrees the Republican primary is over, Jon Stewart said on Wednesday after Mitt Romney cleaned up in three GOP contests this week. Just don’t tell Rick Santorum.
“Game’s over, dude,” Stewart said. “It’s over. You’re done. This isn’t the scene in the sports drama where the coach gives the inspiring speech and then the team comes back to win the playoff (read: Friday night Lights), this is the scene in the sports drama where Hilary Swank hits her head on the stool and never boxes again (read: Million Dollar Baby).”
