Hours after suspending his presidential campaign over mounting allegations of sexual harassment and infidelity, Herman Cain (as played by Saturday Night Live‘s Kenan Thompson) reflected on his campaign.

The allegations are “garbage,” Cain told Seth Meyers. He gave Ginger White money because they are friends. That’s what friends do, he said, slipping Meyers a wad of cash.

Besides, Cain is innocent until proven guilty. If he can’t have at least that, he said, he might as well move to “Libibya.” If only women voters knew the full story, Cain said they would still support his campaign instead of buying into the media’s character assassination.

“What the media does is take people’s perceptions and it bends them,” Cain said. “So I’m asking all you ladies out there, instead of bending for the media, why don’t you bend for Herman Cain?”
